If you live in the United States, a law you will want to know is the Good Samaritan Law. This law does extent to quite a few countries. Check to see if your country has this law.
This law is available in all 50 states, as well as in the District of Columbia.
Good Samaritan laws generally provide basic legal protection for those who assist a person who is injured or in danger.
This is important to know if you are drinking. You should google and search what it covers in your state to make sure you know your rights and protections.
Essentially, this law protects you if you are underage and drinking with friends and someone has too much to drink. If you call 911, you will not get in trouble for your actions if it means you save the individuals life!
Make sure you know this law because it could save someones life.
Many deaths occur because people don’t want to call the police in fear of getting in trouble.
