I didn’t use to be a massive fan of Amazon because they put a lot of the businesses I used to buy from out of business.
However, as a college student, I love them! I can order things that I may not be able to easily get when I’m at college. If you’re a commuter, you’ll be able to get things quickly too!
Now, the question is do you get Prime? As a student I think that it’s worth it!
You get things in two days, never pay for shipping and you have the security to know if something doesn’t show up, if it’s guaranteed delivery, you can request your money back (takes a little pushing but if a company guarantees something and doesn’t deliver, they have to rectify it).
I highly suggest Prime. It’s about $49 a year. But think about it – if you get a few text books, or need something ASAP and can’t go out and get it, you will quickly reach $49 in shipping – so why not just pay a yearly fee and get free shipping on unlimited order?! It’s perfect in my opinion.
I highly suggest the Prime Student 6-month Trial as you can try it for 6 months before you have to pay.
If you’re a parent and reading this, then maybe Try Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial – the price is going up for Amazon Prime in general but you will be able to get things to your house in 2 days as well as to your kids (you can order for them in an emergency).
Overall, if you think you may need stuff, even text books (they have a fantastic renting program), then it’s definitely worth it. After a year of use, if you don’t love it, you can always not renew it.
Also with Amazon Prime you get Amazon Video which means you can save on Netflix or whatever else you buy!
